Hike

Last Sunday, D & I decided to go to Bukit Timah Hill for a short hike!

D& I used to jog regularly... Until I started my full-time job last year. With Part-Time studies as well, we soon fell out of the habit to exercise regularly. We soon became really lazy and our stamina is like cui now.

Woke up at 6.30am to wash up and left the house at 7am.

Honestly, it feels good to wake up early for some exercise, no matter how small.

So here's a map of Bukit Timah Hill. We planned to go for the green trail, however, couldn't find it. (missed the start of the green trail somehow).

We stumbled upon the rock path and went through that instead.

Turns out the rock path was the shortest route over there to the summit. HAHAHA.

We're kinda lucky, in a way. In the rock path, there's this really steep bunch of rocks that requires us to get down and literally climb up the rocks with the help of our hands.

Here's D, in the midst of climbing the steep slope, and giving the million dollar smile.

It's not hard to climb, but I was kind of surprised that there's such roads in the trails of our Bukit Timah hill. haha. The green route doesn't have such stuff, Just loads of steep stairs. 0.0

After a while, we reached the summit! Bukit Timah hill, though the highest point in Singapore, is not really high afterall. Anybody can hike up there.

There're some steep roads/paths that requires some thigh muscle, but overall, it's a relatively easy hike.

Hopefully we can do this more often! :)
